Mermaid, Firewarrior?
Abbie was born in Greenville, North Carolina. She is in High School.
"Abbie is a drawer that dreams to much," she says of herself. What makes a
casual viewer of her work feel a little in awe of her art, particularly with the
Anime characters, is the natural at ease flow of her strokes, materializing a
sensuous, almost perfectly proportional body, with facial expressions that
demand the viewer's heart to be sympathetic. You feel the emotions of her
characters. Artists can work years to sharpen their skills and hope to reach
this quality of what that to Abbie comes about as easy to her as breathing.
We can only hope that a love of art will always burn in her heart and that she
will strive even harder to achieve the potential she has of being an artist that
you will never forget. Oh, Abbie is Duncan's daughter. Her mother is Carol
who can draw a great dragon.

Here is an digital abstract she created.
This is from one of her school projects. The eye is mesmerizing.
Several years ago, Abbigail looked at one of my paintings and did one
similar in style. You couldn't tell a difference. What I spent years to develop
she just sits down and recreates it as though she's done those similar like the
hundreds I've done before to create this style. It's like two piano
players. I had to labor and labor to learn the notes and hammer them over
and over to finally come into my own; then this other student comes and hears
the melody the first student is playing and picks it up by ear, then adds more
spice to it. I am so excited watching her progress and develop her skill.
I have no doubt that if she continues with her art, she is going to be amazing.
For all you collectors.... now's the time you better get one of her pieces her
work is going to be of great value one day.
